Corporate Social Responsibility

Now more than ever, there is a growing importance for companies to ramp up their focus on social responsibility. “Social responsibility,” in simple terms, means a business’s obligation to pursue achievable and good long-term goals for its people and the wider world.

Pegasus Print & Logistics strives to ensure the goods and services sourced are done so in a responsible manner, we believe in earning the trust of all our stakeholders by doing the right thing for our people, our clients, our customers, and the general community.

Through our Ethical Sourcing and Modern Slavery policy we commit to respecting the principles of the United Nations’ (UN) Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the International Labour Organisation’s (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and upholding human rights, not only with respect to our own employees but also for workers in our supply chain. Our Ethical Sourcing and Modern Slavery Policy encompasses comprehensive criteria on anti-corruption, labour rights, fair and safe working conditions, and environmental compliance.

We are members of EcoVadis which covers a broad range of non-financial management systems including Environmental, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement impacts. The EcoVadis platform is designed to help companies better manage and communicate their company’s sustainability performance in a clear and actionable way. Each company is rated on the material issues as they pertain to their company’s size, location, and industry.

In May of 2022 our group has just taken part in a SGP (Supplier Guiding Principles) Virtual Audit Assessment this audits the business against all of the above criteria, working conditions, health & safety, forced labour, business integrity, discrimination and work environment to name a few. We passed this audit as “Fully compliant – No further Action Required” and no observations were recorded.

This is a great result not only for the business but for our workers efforts and contribution.

We truly value our employees, and it is from within our business’s, however, that we receive our most valuable award: workplace loyalty.  More than 25% of our employees have chosen to work and stay at our companies for ten years or longer.
